Review of my Raft experience
By Christopher Hardy

I recently found myself playing the game Raft with some friends, this is a game about trying to survive on a small raft. You would have to try to gather materials as you traverse the world. I plan on giving a quick rundown of my experience playing the game and showing you if it was worth the $9.99.
Initial struggles
When I first installed Raft there was a problem connecting with my friends who played on Xbox. I only found out that the game allowed crossplay between different platforms through its Steam beta. This required me to restart the game multiple times before I was able to join their game. Ngl I had refunded the game before I was convinced by my friends to try again the next day.
Graphics
The graphics are one of the best aspects of this game. The ocean is well designed given that the game is centered around being stranded at sea. There was a lot of detail put into the coral and the material found in the ocean. The islands were well made as well along with the animals on the islands flocking around smoothly without staggering. The design of story-based structures such as the oil rig looks incredible. This run-down oil rig adds a bit of a parkour aspect by making players jump from one part of the building to another. For those who like a bit of a challenge while playing games, this place might be fun for you.
My Experience
I personally really enjoyed playing this game. I love the fact that I’m able to customize my raft to any way that I want it to be no matter how bizarre it might be. Though as I was playing I often found myself starving fairly quickly while also trying to fight off shark attacks from the ocean. But that was quickly resolved with the amount of fish that I was catching for food. I also found the lore in the game really interesting since getting to the lore of the game had involved things that I had enjoyed like puzzle solving and parkour. Some of which had given me a chance to try out driving a snowmobile.
Is it worth it?
I believe that this game is worth checking out if you enjoy survival games. Having a group of friends to play with you could even make the game more enjoyable as you explore and develop your raft. The game always had things for me to do to stop me from getting bored, so I’d say that this game was 100% worth the $10.
